What is it?
Silvalea’s Full Back replacement patient transfer sling with built-in head support and additional leg padding. This contoured sling is designed to fit the majority of users, offering generous full body support and features removable bones. Easy to fit with divided legs suitable for all general transfers for patients who require full back support. This sling is particularly suitable for those end users with limited mobility who require additional support throughout the torso and head.
Available in three material types:
Polyester – Easy application. Glides and slides smoothly, dries quickly after washing.
Mesh – High density open weave mesh, durable, used for bathing as quick drying. SUITABLE FOR BATHING
Silva Quick-2-Apply® – Extremely easy to apply low friction flexible fabric, lightweight and durable.
Compatible for Oxford, Joerns hoists and other third party hoists with loop fixing spreader bars.
Poly & Mesh – Wash at 85°C
Poly & Mesh – Tumble dry low heat (max 50°C)
Silva Quick-2-Apply – Wash at 81°C
Silva Quick-2-Apply – Tumble dry low heat (max 50°C)

Lift Type: KEY
Active – end user is active and can participate in transfer
Passive Lift – end user can maintain passivity or has limited mobility
Extensive – end user has limited body control and/or suffers from extreme extensions.
Functional Independence Measure
The Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scale assesses physical and cognitive disability. This scale focuses on the burden of care – that is, the level of disability indicating the burden of caring for them.
