What is it?
The Trekker has been specially designed for permanent wheelchair users who need the support of a companion.
Combining it with the Matrixx seat system creates even more room for customisation. The chair can be completely tailored to the individual user, using a variety of options for different seats, backrest, arm rest and leg-rests.
For the user, this means a chair that is always comfortable to sit in and easy to operate manually or propel by foot, offering extensive freedom of movement!
The Trekker can be combined with the AURA push support unit, a battery powered powered hub with a convenient speed control lever mounted on the push handle. The AURA unit provides the motive power whilst the attendant provides the steering input, making a convenient combination for carers with a concern over manual handling, The Trekker remains crash test approved with the AURA unit fitted.

Height adjustable push handles

The chassis has the facility to change in width for the assisting of patients with bariatric requirements, and with the handling of patients in and out of the chair.
